Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 3, 2026

Ultra Marketing Group ("Ultra," "we," "our," or "us") is an ecommerce growth agency based in Southbury, Connecticut. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit ultramarketinggroup.com or engage us for services.

This is an agency website, not a store. We do not sell products here. There is no cart, no checkout, and no order or shipping process. We do not collect or process payment card details through this site.

1. Personal Information We Collect

Information you provide. When you submit our contact form, request a conversion audit, email us, or speak with us, we collect what you choose to share. That typically includes your name, email address, company or brand name, your store's website address, an approximate revenue range, and whatever you write describing your business.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect limited technical information through cookies and similar technologies: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring website, and time spent on the site. This is used in aggregate to understand how the site performs.

Information we do not collect. We do not collect payment card numbers, bank details, government identification numbers, health information, or precise geolocation through this website.

2. Where Information Comes From

We receive personal information directly from you, automatically from your device as you browse, and occasionally from service providers such as analytics and email tools acting on our behalf. Where a prospective client is referred to us, we may receive contact details from the referring party.

3. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, prepare and deliver a conversion audit where requested, communicate about a prospective or active engagement, deliver contracted services, maintain business and financial records, secure and improve this website, and comply with legal obligations.

Where required by law, we rely on your consent for optional cookies and marketing messages, and otherwise on our legitimate interest in operating and improving our business.

4. How We Disclose Personal Information

We disclose personal information only as follows:

  • Service providers. Vendors that help us operate, including our website platform, email, analytics, and CRM tools. Each is bound by confidentiality obligations and may use the information only to provide their service to us.
  • Professional advisers. Accountants, auditors, and lawyers, where necessary and under a duty of confidence.
  • Legal and safety. Where required by law, regulation, court order, or valid legal process, or to establish or defend legal claims, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Ultra, our clients, or others.
  • Business transfer. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under United States state privacy laws, and we do not disclose personal information to advertisers or data brokers.

5. Client Data and Systems

Some engagements involve access to a client's own systems, such as a Shopify store, Klaviyo account, or analytics platform. In those cases we act on the client's instructions as a service provider or processor. We access only what is necessary to perform the work, we do not use client customer data for our own purposes, and that data remains governed by the client's own privacy policy and our agreement with them.

6. Relationship with Shopify

This website is hosted on Shopify. Shopify provides the underlying platform and processes certain information on our behalf in order to operate the site, and handles some information for its own purposes as described in Shopify's own privacy policy. We do not control Shopify's independent processing.

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember preferences, and understand aggregate usage. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and some parts of the site may not function correctly if you do. We honour recognised browser-based opt-out signals where required by law.

8. Security and Retention

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including access controls and reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is entirely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain enquiry information for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records. Client records are retained for the duration of the engagement and afterwards as required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, request that it be corrected or deleted, request a portable copy, opt out of marketing communications, opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (which we do not do), and limit the use of sensitive personal information (which we do not collect).

To make a request, email admin@ultramarketinggroup.com. We will verify your identity where necessary and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. You may designate an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any message. Opting out of marketing does not affect communications about an active engagement.

10. International Transfers

We are based in the United States and information we hold is processed there. If you contact us from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

11. Children's Information

This site is intended for a business audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Third-Party Websites and Links

This site links to third-party websites, platforms, and tools that we do not control. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and encourage you to read their policies.

13. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we handle personal information, contact us first at admin@ultramarketinggroup.com and we will work to resolve it. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority or state attorney general.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new Effective Date, and material changes will be made clear here.
